       Type in a console "dpkg -i gnome-inform7_5Z71-1_i386.deb" as root to install
       GNOME Inform 7 on your system. 
       An entry for "GNOME Inform 7" will appear under "Programming" in the "Applications"
       menu.
       **To uninstall**: Go to "Synaptic Package Manager" under "Administration"
       in the "System" menu, find "gnome-inform7" in the list, right-click on
       it, and select "Mark for complete removal". Then click "Apply".
